Dear valued patients, family and friends,

For the past 39 years, this practice has been more than just a dental office; it has been a second home, and you have been our extended family. I want to express my deepest gratitude for the immense loyalty, trust, and warmth you have shown to my late husband and our entire team throughout the decades.

Following my husband’s passing, I have given thorough consideration to the future of the practice. My highest priority was ensuring that you continue to receive the same exceptional, compassionate care you have always known. With that in mind, I am pleased to inform you that I have sold the practice to a highly skilled and trusted dentist, Dr. Nardine Bastawros, DDS.

Dr. Nardine Bastawros shares our practice philosophy of treating patients with kindness, integrity, and clinical excellence. I have complete confidence that you are in the very best hands.

To help ensure a seamless transition, I am happy to share that I will continue to work at the office alongside Dr. Bastawros and our familiar staff, Ms. Barbara Huff. You will see the same friendly faces and receive the same dedicated service when you walk through our doors.

Meet your dentist

Dr. Nardine Bastawros, DDS

I am thrilled to introduce Dr. Nardine Bastawros, who brings a wonderful blend of clinical expertise, gentle care, and true passion to our practice family. Her dental journey began at the esteemed Faculty of Dentistry at Alexandria University, where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2016. She later graduated valedictorian of her class with high honors (Summa Cum Laude) from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2023, while also completing a minor in Esthetic Dentistry. Along the way, her exceptional dedication earned her numerous academic accolades and a proud induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

To ensure her patients receive the highest standard of modern care, she completed a rigorous General Practice Residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital, gaining advanced training in general and hospital dentistry.

Dr. Bastawros stays at the forefront of her field through her active memberships in both the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania State Dental Association. Deeply committed to giving back, she also volunteers her time providing free dental care at the Pennsylvania Mission of Mercy event every year.

Outside the office, she enjoys experiencing new cultures and trying diverse cuisines. She also has a passion for scouting antique and vintage finds, firmly believing that older treasures deserve to be preserved and admired.

She is genuinely excited to meet you and honor the strong legacy of care established by Dr. Sheedy. Her top priority is protecting that tradition by creating a positive, stress-free experience, focusing on pain-free care to help you smile comfortably and confidently.
